All of EP’s HGV training vehicles are automatic. This is because when passing in an automatic HGV vehicle, as long as the driver has a manual car licence, the driver is entitled to drive manual HGV vehicles as well. EP therefore chooses to have their training vehicles as automatic because automatic vehicles are usually easier to drive and learn in than manual.
If you only have an automatic car licence you can still learn and pass in one of EP’s automatic HGV vehicles. The difference is you will only be able to drive automatic HGV vehicles.
